ONE // I spent this past week in Coronado, California where one of my best friends, Caroline, lives. We don’t get to see each other (this was the 2nd time in a year!!) so any moment we spend together is the best. We spent everyday on the beach and ate way to much amazing food.
TWO // While I was in Coronado I stayed at The Hotel Del Coronado. It is my favorite place in California. I have been going there every summer since I was about 2 and I still love it. It is the prettiest hotel on the cutest little island off the coast of San Diego. It was originally built in 1888, parts of the movie Some Like It Hot was filmed there and the sand on near the water is gold.
THREE // If you haven’t noticed my skin tone rivals printer paper on the color scale, so I really appreciate a good sunscreen. I have loved the Australian Gold Sunscreen for a few years and still to but I decide to try the SuperGoop Sunscreen Mousse. There has been so much talk about is this summer so I was a little skeptical, but I love it. It is definitely a beach sunscreen and not an everyday sunscreen because it is quite oily, but it lasts so long and really works. I missed a little patch of skin with it and you can see a clear line of where I rubbed in the sunscreen and where my poor skin got fried.
FOUR // I’ve been really into podcasts lately (read more here) because I can have them on in the background will I’m doing other things and don’t feel like I’m missing anything like TV. I came across The Lady Gang Podcast last week and they almost as good as The Bitch Bible Podcast.
FIVE // I have been so bad at working out this summer. I normally go to Pure Barre almost everyday when I'm at school and when ever I'm in Phoenix I make it to as many Party on a Bike classes as I can, but for some reason this summer in Utah I haven't been able to bring myself to get in to a routine. I do occasionally go for runs that turn into walks (running at 7,000ft altitude is rough) but thats just not cutting it for me. So after seeing the annoying commercial for Daily Burn I decided to sign up for it, and I love it. I'm doing their barre workouts and its so nice because I have no excuse to not to them. I don't need to leave the house, I don't have to see if the class times work into my day, and its free for a month.
